This weekend workshop is designed to give participants an introduction to the relief and intaglio printmaking process of multi-plate monotypes. Reduction monotype is a process of making multi-color, unique prints from plexiglass or mat board plates. No prior experience is necessary.
Barbara Elam is an Emeritus Professor of Art at Rockford College, Rockford, Illinois. Among her many group exhibitions are the Los Angeles Printmaking Society, Rare Prints at the Fogg Art Museum of Harvard University, and American Printmakers at the Print Club in Philadelphia.
