| Nicole Hand, Compressed Observance |
Thank you to Visiting Printmaker Nicole Hand, who printed an edition of Compressed Observance with the assistance of thirteen students, three faculty members and a volunteer. During her visit Nicole also delivered a lecture to Core Drawing students and participated in a P.R.I.N.T Press open house in which assistants demonstrated color intaglio printing techniques.
Nicole's project was covered by the North Texas Daily and UNT News Service. The project is the first of a new subscription program in which members receive a hand-pulled, limited edition print from the collaboration in exchange for support to the program.
Nicole's visit was co-sponsored by Core Drawing, UNT Printmaking and P.R.I.N.T Press.
