She is Professor at the University of North Texas and also directs P.R.I.N.T, a nonprofit fine art press. She received an M.F.A. from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.

Visitors pulled relief and screen prints inspired by Dell's work

Thank you to Jeffrey Dell who collaborated at P.R.I.N.T Press to produce an limited edition of fine art prints entitled Transit using laser-cut woodblocks and screenprint on Yupo paper.

Our Open House release party featured a demo and allowed visitors to make their own relief or screenprint inspired by the artist. We also provided free take-aways such as buttons and stickers. Check out photos of these events on our Facebook page!

Jeffrey Dell was assisted by MFA candidates Jessie Barnes, Sarah Ellis, Christina Kellum, Zackary Petot, Kayla Seedig, and David Villegas; and BFA candidates Christin Clemons, Samuel Cowan, Jessica Gengenbach, Xiao Liu, Samarpan Majarhan, Grady McConnell, Cameron Tanner; and faculty/staff Lari Gibbons, Thomas Menikos, and Syd Webb.

Open House with Jeffrey Dell

This Open House will feature a demo and live, interactive printing for attendees. Visitors can make their own inspired take-away print using provided materials. Jeffrey Dell will present new work, featuring a laser-cut woodblock printed in multiple colors on layers of translucent paper.

Gretchen Schermerhorn ('99) at P.R.I.N.T

Gretchen Schermerhorn, Artistic Director at Pyramid Atlantic, taught a Multi-pass Monotype workshop at P.R.I.N.T Press on October 6 and  7. She was assisted by Laura Drapac, Thomas Menikos, Nuray Packard, Su Tran and Jon Vogt. We thank the many people who participated in the workshop!

Ms. Schermerhorn is currently the Artistic Director at Pyramid Atlantic Art Center in Silver Spring, Maryland. She received a BFA in printmaking from University of North Texas in 1999 and an MFA in Printmaking from Arizona State University in 2004. She has completed artist fellowships and residencies at Women's Studio Workshop in New York, Columbia College Center for Book and Paper in Chicago, Seacourt Print Workshop in Northern Ireland, and California State University. Her prints, installations and works on paper works have been exhibited in New York, Boston and Washington DC, and her work is in national and international collections.
